Elway’s restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton is known for it’s USDA Prime hand cut steaks, but what is really music to my ears? The amazing shareable dessert Pastry Chef, Leslie Ann Viets, is baking up in honor of your sweetie pie on Valentine’s Day. You saw it here first sugar lovers – the Oozy Fudge Upside-down Cake topped with a heaping “dollop” of home made S’mores Ice Cream – a mouthful, in more ways than one. The ice cream alone was a Jenny pleaser with marshmallow ice cream, chocolate covered graham crackers and a caramel stripe through out that would put any other ice cream to shame. And the chocolate cake? One of the best I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot), not too sweet, not too rich, a perfect hot oozing chocolatey cake. Pastry Chef Leslie Ann created a beautiful melody in my mouth.
