After a delightful lite dinner of appetizers at Olivea in Denver (obviously, I was saving room for the main course – dessert), I was pleasantly surprised with a table FULL of desserts. Each bite topping the other. I had the most difficult time choosing just one to write about, but I lucked out. Since the menu changed the day after I visited, it left me with Pastry Chef, Yasmin Lozada-Hissom’s, GENIUS Chocolate and Fleur de Sel Caramel Tart garnished with milk chocolate gelato and nougatine crunch… quite literally, a delicious mouthful.
Even though the menu changed, this little tart stays. I do a really sassy happy dance at the thought of devouring this again, and again, and again.
Like what you see? Show them some sugar…
Disclaimer: This post is 100% Sugar Loco’s opinion. I did enjoy a few of the desserts on the house, but only in exchange for big smiles and lots of “mmmmmm’s”.
