Cocoa Nutter Mallow Wiches {Recipe}

The star of the show today is a recipe I thought up and made all by myself.  And I must pat myself on the back, and blurt out a word of excitement profanity,  HOLY CHEESE NIPS these are the most FABULOUS thing on the earth at this moment!  Our lovely Mary, from Houston, actually gave me the name.

It’s a mouthful, but what else would you expect from a mouthful as lovely as this?  Besides, you should be using your time wisely by eating it, not saying the name over and over.

Cocoa-Nutter-Mallow-Wiches

Ingredients - Krispie Treats

6 cups Cocoa Krispies – doesn’t matter the brand

1 bag of Large Marshmallows

3 T butter

Filling -

Marshmallow Fluff, or large marshmallows

1 Cup Peanut Butter

1/3 Cup Softened Butter

3/4 Cup Confectioners Sugar

For Treats -

In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

Add cereal. Stir until well coated.

Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into cookie sheet pan coated with cooking spray. Set aside and let cool.

Filling – In a mixing bowl combine the peanut butter, butter and confectioners sugar.  Blend until smooth.

Cut treat bars into even squares, size to your liking from mini up to the size of your face.  Match up tops and bottoms of similar size.  Spread peanut butter filling onto one side and marshmallow fluff onto the other. If you want to use marshmallows instead of the fluff, microwave the marshmallows on a plate for 10 seconds and then quickly transfer them onto your sandwich.

Smoosh the two sides together and enjoy.

Like what you see?  Show us some sugar…
