The flavors of the season, Gingerbread, Pumpkin, and Peppermint, when these start hitting the shelves of your market it’s a) Christmas in July b) time to rejoice and get to bakin fall/winter treats c) time to get your elf on a shelf. I was kidding about the July, but it does seem that you find that creepy guy in the red suit everywhere, even among your summer Otter Pops, these days.
I digress, the EASIEST way to achieve these flavors is not to get your panties in a wad creating your own flavor explosions, while the kids run circles around you and your Kitchen Aid, but by easily adding Duncan Hines Limited Edition Frosting Creations flavors to their Frosting Starters. Done and done. Now go chillax.
Choose from Apple Pie, Pumpkin Spice, Gingerbread and the soon to be released Peppermint Stick. I got a first taste of Peppermint Stick and ate so much of it I had to slap my own hand because I wouldn’t have enough for my recipe. Ever done that? No?! #LIAR
Not into holiday flavors just yet? They’ve got tons more, in fact I used the Cherry Vanilla in my Red Velvet Cherry Vanilla Whoopie Pies recipe.
Recipes coming soon for the limited edition holiday flavors, just you wait.
