Here’s a little about the Sugar Bowl Bakery, if you don’t know them or have been living under a rock the past 27 years 😉

It all started in the mid 80’s with a sum of 40k – the entire savings of five brothers. Their purchase, the Sugar Bowl Bakery in San Fran’s Richmond District.

In 1984, five ambitious brothers pooled their savings together of $40K and purchased Sugar Bowl Bakery, a small neighborhood coffee shop in San Francisco’s Richmond District. Building off the community enthusiasm, known for their finest and purist ingredients, they became the go to place for desserts.

Now they have a state of the art production facility nearly 120k square feet large. They’re one of the largest family owned baker manufacturers and enjoy fruitful distribution to top retailers throughout the US.
