A Magical Candy Tour

I know summer vacation is coming up for you sweet friends and it will be the start of the summer marathon of  hearing…”I’m bored”.  So I took one for the Sugar Loco team and checked out the Hammond’s Candy Factory tour.  I was so lucky to have a personal VIP (ya, totally bragging here) by my new Candy BFF Kammy.

Denver peeps, this is a must see attraction this summer, the kids will absolutely love it.  And trust me, it’s not going to be a painful visit for you either.  From beginning to end, you’ll enjoy watching these amazing artisans hand-create candy right before your eyes.  I was in awe of the magic they created and then fortunate enough to get my paws on some of the fresh candies coming right off the line.  Can you say Lucky Girl?

(This was my “I Love Lucy” moment, I seriously considered trying to shove all of these Chocolate filled Raspberry Canes in my mouth…)

I’ve been wanting to take my kids to Hammons ever since I bought some candy for a friend from them to settle a bet I lost when the Bronco’s lost.

    Thanks for the reminder!
