A “Spooktacular” Halloween Dessert Drink Cocktail

Fall is finally upon us. YAY! Although if you live in Los Angeles, you are wondering just what kind of fall weather brings temperatures soaring into the high 90’s! As my little family picked pumpkins in the 90 degree California sun, sweating as we contemplated the perfect pumpkin, all I could think of were fall leaves and cooler weather in the East. The grass is always greener, right?!?

To combat this crazy heat, I have ditched the warm cider for a cooler version. Enter a cocktail aptly named for the Halloween season, Skulled Holiday Cider. Made with Vodka created by screen legend Dan Aykroyd, Crystal Head Vodka is a super premium vodka with a slight sweet flavor. Added bonus, it comes in really great skull shaped bottle that is ready to be used as Halloween decor for a party.

Mixed together with some vanilla liqueur, apple cider, and ginger ale this cocktail is perfect for a Halloween party. This drink was not too sweet, and contained a hint of cider flavor. I really liked this take on a fall flavor and would definitely serve it up at our yearly Halloween shin dig!
