Burger Lounge {Los Angeles}

On the busy streets of Beverly Hills sits a new restaurant, Burger Lounge. Opening it’s doors in July of 2012, this hip burger joint specializes in grass-fed and free range meats, salads, and veggie burgers. While their burgers are popular and so delicious, their desserts are what lured me in to this new establishment {obviously}.

Milkshakes, brownies, and root beer floats are just a few of the tasty treats that are served up in this new take on a diner. But these are not just your run of the mill shakes and floats. All floats are made with Maine Root Soda, an organic sugar cane soda that is sweet but not full of high fructose corn syrup, and All Natural Dreyer’s Ice Cream fills the float; which makes you not feel so guilty about guzzling down a float or two like I did. I tried the root beer and orange soda floats and both were yummy and way beyond your normal root beer float.

Second on the tasting extravaganza was a Big Sugar Bake Shop Salted Caramel Brownie topped with Ghirardelli chocolate and whipped cream. This was heaven on a plate! Full of rich chocolate flavors and topped with sea salt and caramel, this brownie was hands down my favorite of the 3 desserts I tried! It had the baby in my belly dancing for joy, as well!

To finish of my tasting I had a “mini shake,” the Burger Lounge’s take on the classic milk shake. They serve mini shakes for those who want to enjoy a burger, fries and a shake and not feel too guilty! Made with Dreyer’s Chocolate Ice Cream, whole milk, and topped with whipped cream, this mini shake will have you wanting a bigger one. The mini shakes are adorable and delicious and perfect for your little ones that want to enjoy a sweet treat too. No fear though, they make a regular sized shake to satisfy that craving!

Do yourself a favor and check out all the tasty treats Burger Lounge has to offer. You will be singing their praises and will be dreaming of that brownie for days!

 Like what you see? Show them some sugar…..
