Chocolate Treats that are…Peanut and Tree Nut FREE!! @vermontnutfree

Cookies, cakes, pies, hot chocolate mixes, candy canes, popcorn tins… and CHOCOLATE.  With the holidays here – these things are constantly around and up for grabs.  I’d like to say that I have the will power to occasionally not grab a cookie at home or a candy cane at work.  But chocolate? I can never pass that up… let alone a good piece of fine, gourmet chocolate! After one Milk Chocolate piece that practically melted in my mouth, I HAD to try more to see what all Vermont Nut Free Chocolates had to offer.  The next thing I tried was their Milk Chocolate Covered Mini Twists – which had the ‘melt in your mouth’ chocolate, followed by the sweet and salty combination from the pretzel.  A-MA-ZING!  Then I moved onto the Dark Chocolate, then the Skippers (chocolate centers covered in a crunchy colorful shell), and I can honestly say – EVERYTHING I tried was delicious.

Not only do they have a holiday selection which includes Peppermint Fudge, Winter Jelly Beans, Dark & Milk Chocolate Christmas Bells & Holiday Snowman, Christmas Pretzels, Christmas Chocolate Lollipops and much much more – but they also offer a small Hanukkah selection, packages that can be used for Father’s Day (sports, tools, & tackle box sets), Weddings (truffle boxes), Christenings (crosses) & Baby Showers (storks, cigars, & “It’s a Boy/Girl”).  And coming from an event planner, I love it when companies branch out and customize packages for all audiences and all types of events – because now, I can definitely refer them to my clients!

Besides all of the amazing ‘melt in your mouth’ type chocolate – they have branched out and introduced TANABAR, which is a new line of granola bars made from all natural, nut free ingredients that are safe and healthy.  They are always working on new products and flavors to add to their line, which helped them expand  into the sports nutrition market with the MetaBall, an all natural energy snack (similar to a protein bar), only in the shape of a ball!

Vermont Nut Free Chocolates was founded by the mother of a son with a potentially life-threatening peanut allergy.  The combination of her love for her son and her passion for chocolate inspired her to start up this company.  Not only are the chocolates peanut and tree nut free… but they are also gourmet.  I loved this chocolate, and can only imagine how amazing their gourmet truffles, sprinkled marshmallows, or toffee crunch bark tastes!  If only I can try it all… 🙂
