Tip: Since I took this Chocolate Trifle to someone’s house, and typically enjoy leaving the leftovers, I purchased a clear serving dish from the Dollar Store. This way you don’t have to worry about trying to get back Great Aunt Bopsie’s Antique Trifle bowl back.
I modified this recipe by adding crushed Peanut Butter Cups where it calls for Bar Chocolate Candy. That touch of peanut butter was FABulosity! (Thanks for the word Kimora Lee Simmons)
MMMMMM, Gorgeous layers of pudding, whipped cream, brownies and peanut butter cups… Have I got you salivating yet?
Like what you see? Show us some sugar…

I can think of some yummy ingredients I’d like to use in my version. Mmmmmm…….don’t trifle with trifle.

I’ll have to make sure my kids don’t find out you cook like this – they’d never forgive me for not giving them such yummy desserts!

There is nothing about this recipe I don’t like. But what I really love is your idea to buy a dollar store bowl to ‘leave behind.’ You’re the kind of guest I’ll invite to EVERY party I host. The bowl would be nice, but the contents? Oh, my.

I swear I’m putting on weight just reading this post. I’m throwing in some strawberries to pretend to be a little bit less evil. Ha! YUM.

I’m only interested it it has butter. 😉 Also, Great Aunt Bopsie? Love it.
