Churn the old fashioned ice cream {Phoenix}

Bubble Gum, Bubble Gum, in a dish, how many pieces do you wish? I’ll take the whole dish plus two scoops of creamy delicious homemade ice cream!

Churn, located in the central phoenix area is the hottest spot around to cool off this summer. Fashioned after an old candy shop, Churn is sure to satisfy the inner child in us all. Creating mouth-watering hand prepared ice cream sandwiches; you choose the flavors from the cookies to the ice cream.

Attached to the award winning restaurant, Windsor, Churn caters to all their delectable dessert needs. Releasing their newest creations to the Windsor menu are the Kitchen Sink Sundae (Churn’s Peanut Butter and Chocolate Ice Creams, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Salted Cocktail Peanuts, Toffee Sauce, Whipped Cream, Butterscotch Chips), Fat Elvis Banana Sundae (Churn’s Peanut Butter Ice Cream, Bananas, Salted Caramel Sauce, Whipped Cream, Chocolate Rocks), S’More Sundae (Churn’s Chocolate Ice Cream, Homemade Fudge Sauce, Butter Grahams, Toasted Homemade Marshmallow Fluff), & Caramel Apple Pie Float (Churn’s Vanilla Ice Cream, Cinnamon Sugar, Homemade Salted Caramel, Apple Soda).

I had the privilege, yes privilege, of sampling Churn’s homemade peanut butter ice cream, along with a scoop of chocolate smashed tightly into a pretzel cone. Needless to say, I snuck up the next afternoon for another helping as I was literally dreaming of it all night long. It was as if I would be unable to function until I got my next fix of Churn’s ice cream. Literal craving; possibly turning to addiction.  Hmmm….I think I’ll head up again right now! Where are my keys?

Like what you see? Show them some sugar…
