We wanted to share with you some vegan desserts from Portland’s Departure Restaurant + Lounge. The dessert menu is truly a vegan’s paradise, and includes Departure’s signature combination of creative Asian flavors with the freshest seasonal fruits.
One of the vegan desserts offered is a banana split with cherry compote, miso butterscotch and peanut brittle ice cream. The tempura-fried banana and creamy peanut brittle ice cream will leave even the biggest dairy-lovers satisfied.
Other vegan desserts include a green tea sponge cake with guava sorbet, a raspberry ice cream dome with cashew milk as well as a shaved coconut ice with jackfruit and papaya.
