Dessert in the Corner Office {Denver}

Where else can you experience a Disco Brunch with bottomless Mimosas, a disco ball in the ladies room and mounds of fresh-spun cotton candy?  No, this has nothing to do with the biggest show on earth, it’s The Corner Office in the Curtis Hotel.  Ah Ha!  Now I know why everyone wants the coveted corner office.

This restaurant blew me away with their unique retro vibe with global influences.  Every plate has a unique story, and a story I definitely enjoyed tasting.  Especially this….My favorite of the office crew:

Cleverly named the Flamenco Foreplay aka. Dulce de leche Cheesecake – served with lemon sorbet, Pedro Ximenez & a graham cracker tuille.  You wouldn’t typically think that Dulce de leche would pair well with lemon sorbet, but aye carumba, this combination was truly sinful – and that’s what the chefs at the Corner office do, they surprise you with every dish.  The lemon cleansed and balanced the sweetness of the cheesecake so well, you could eat the entire serving by yourself without overloading your sweet tooth, or a belly ache.  Oh the flavor of a good dulce de leche packs a caramelized sugar flavor that will make you an instant addict.

I kept digging into this one until I overheard the chatter from the people standing around the water cooler.  Then I stopped licking the plate.

Now go “do the hustle” to the Corner Office.

Like what you see?  Show them some sugar…
