Normally, mixes aren’t all that jazz, but behold!—a new type of baking mix that delivers delicious results! Among Friends, a lovely baking mix company, delivers a product that is full of the good stuff and free of the bad stuff. Recently I tried the Double Chocolate Cookies, and they taste like a cross between a brownie and a cookie. Each cookie comes out bite sized, and that can either be a blessing or a curse depending on how many you end up eating!
What you’ll need:
makes about 33 cookies
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbsp butter (or substitute)
- 1 mix of CJ’s Double Chocolate Cookies
How to do it:
Preheat oven to 350ºF
Prepare cookie sheets with parchment paper or non-stick spray
Empty mix into large bowl
Add 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, and 4 tbsp very soft butter; you can also use a combination of oil and butter, coconut oil, or vegan alternative
Beat on low speed or by hand until very well combined
Form 1-inch balls and place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart; sprinkle with sugar to add sparkle if desired
Bake 7 to 9 minutes until just set, center will be soft; cool on sheets for 5 minutes
Enjoy! Or, store in the freezer
I definitely enjoyed these cookies and am up for trying another one of their fabulous mixes! Go ahead and check out their products, Facebook, and twitter!
