Warning: This recipe may leave you with a sugar rush lasting for approximately 48 hours, AND it is highly addictive.
Holy Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Batman, this one is a doozie. Coming to you from Candy Coated in Canada. We love our fellow Canadians, don’t you? Eh? I think I love them even more for this recipe for insanity.
Double double stuffed Peanut Butter cup Oreo cookies
- Remove the tops of 2 double stuffed oreos and place to the side (do not throw out. These can be used later as crumble for the tops of your sandwiched cookies or saved for an Oreo crust)
- Place a Reese Peanut Butter Cup or home made cup between the two double stuffed Oreo bottoms. Gently sandwich
together.
- In the microwave for or small double broiler melt milk chocolate over low heat or for 30 seconds. Stir continuously until the chocolate has melted. If using a microwave, remove after 30 seconds, stir, and microwave again if needed. Note that if you microwave or heat for to long the chocolate will become thick and unmanageable. If this happens add a small amount of either vegetable oil or shortening.
- Using a small fork, dip the sandwich into the chocolate and flip if necessary. Gently pat on the side of bowl to remove excess chocolate. Place on a wax paper lined baking sheet to dry. If you wish, sprinkle with crushed peanuts, Peanut Butter chocolate drizzle or crumble oreos.
Like what you see? Show them some sugar…

If I could eat PB, this could be quite dangerous!

My daughter’s friend brought Oreos and peanut butter as her ‘snack’ on a trip we took together. I had never imagined that dipping an Oreo in peanut butter could be a good thing. Now this? Sigh. Willpower is not my middle name.
