I heard a saying once that said, “Raisin oatmeal cookies that look like chocolate chip cookies are the main reason I have trust issues.” I couldn’t have agreed more and still chuckle whenever I see someone quote this. Oatmeal cookies – we have a love-hate relationship. I absolutely love oatmeal cookies but never can seem to find any that don’t have raisin’s in them; unless of course I make my own. Well, Coyote Oatie Cookies have taken the old fashioned oatmeal cookie to a new level with their Gourmet Cookies.
Do you ever remember baking with your grandma and she’d let you sneak a bite of the batter when mom wasn’t looking? That sweet joy of sneaking a bite, yet the guilt of, “what if they catch me?” That is exactly how I felt when sampling my Coyote Oaties. Here’s the deal, they gave me 6 samples. Each one rich in flavor, extremely doughy and filled with whole rolled oates and top notch ingredients. As I sampled one, I quickly found myself sampling another, and another and another, until no joke I was sprawled out on the couch with the box on my stomach sneaking just – another- bite. (That’s the guilt part).
You have to be a fan of “doughy” cookies to truly enjoy the Coyote Oatie. Flavors of Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Cashew & White Chocolate Macadamia had me reaching for a glass of iced cold milk and a comfy spot in the living room.
It’s one of those things, so delicious and enjoyable, yet the guilt sinks in when you’ve realized its too late, you just ate the whole box.
Like what you see? Show them some sugar…..
