Evening Orchard Cocktail From G’Vine Gin!!!

It seems like October and its holidays are all about the kids. Halloween – that one’s obvious. Try trick or treating as an adult and not getting arrested. Good luck. Columbus Day – does anyone get this off anymore, other than kids and government workers? We’re pretty sure teachers are the only ones keeping that holiday alive, and we don’t blame them. It’s time adults pushed back a little harder on October.

This cocktail  From G’Vine is a perfect example of how to do that. It has alcohol, so that eliminates the kiddos right from the jump. On top of that, it’s pretty hard to make, so no one without developed motor skills and/or some culinary knowledge is included.

Ok, so the drink is hard to make. But is it worth the effort? We’d say YES. This isn’t really a “get drunk” drink. This is the kind of drink you sip to experience the flavor profiles that you’ve created in your own glass. For example, you probably haven’t ever rinsed a glass with Herbsaint in preparation for a cocktail. And we’re willing to bet that you haven’t infused an apple cider reduction with cardamom seeds before. But seriously, give it a try, and sip this one, don’t chug it. Take back October for the adults!!
