Gingerbread Martini {Recipe}

This time of year gets me Gingerbread enthused.  I’ve already covered one of my Gingerbread favorites here, but now here’s a second – a Gingerbread Martini.  Coming to you from the genius bartenders at the Inverness Hotel and Spa, this creamy, yet spicy, cocktail will have you wanting to deck the halls all night long. {whatever that means, I assume it’s naughty}

Gingerbread Martini
½ ounce vanilla vodka
½ ounce crème de cacoa
½ ounce baileys
Splash of goldschlager
Splash of butterscotch
Shake well with ice
Served without ice in a martini glass
Garnished with nutmeg sprinkled on top and whipped cream
Like what you see?  Show them some sugar….

    Hi Jenny. This looks scrumptious. Question: Is the “splash of butterscotch” a butterscotch flavored schnapps?

      Thank you Chele! Butterscotch, but hey, if you’ve got butterscotch schnapps I bet that would be fantastic too!
