Since May is Celiac Awareness Month, we decided to bring our viewers a few gluten-free drinks over the course of the month. Now, that would be really easy if we were bringing you drinks like water, or ice water, or even warm/hot water – but we’re not taking the easy way out! These drinks will be made with liquors such as sake that normally contain gluten. Luckily, in this case, TY KU Sake has provided us with a sake that is 100% gluten free!
We’ll start with the Sake Sunrise, created by TY KU and Chef Ming Tsai. Here’s the recipe!
1 oz TY KU Sake Silver
1 oz Orange Juice
1/2 oz Sprite
Dash of Grenadine
Shake with ice, pour into a glass, and enjoy! It seems simple, but as anyone with a gluten intolerance can tell you, living gluten free is hard enough as it is!
