So when Kent Whitaker said he had a Grilled Pound Cake, it came as no surprise to this BBQ-Every-Meal-On-The-Grill Girl. But boy am I telling you – this Grilled Pound Cake looks so delicious that I’m looking forward to having my dad do it this summer too!

Kent Whitaker or best known as The Deck Chef  is the author of several cookbooks including The Hometown Series (Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, & Texas), BBQ & Grilling Books and most recently Bullets & Bread – a culinary history of the Best Chow and Worst Chow served up during World War II.
