Insanely Addictive Cookie Dough Bites

“Like crack”, is how these cute and sweet Chocolate Covered Cookie Dough Bites are being referred to.  Now I’ll be honest, I’ve never tried crack (and don’t plan on it either), but the enslaving properties in these little bites do constitute a serious addiction.  Beloved cookie dough, covered in a hardened milk chocolate, topped with white chocolate and sprinkled with toffee bits.  Drooling yet?

Kyrie Bentz, a small town girl with big dreams of opening a wine and dessert bar, has worked these ingredients into perfection by modifying an old recipe she saw on Food Network.  I’m serious when I say, do NOT make these with the intention of giving them all away – they’ll never make it out the front door.

Chocolate Covered Cookie Dough Bites


  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 oz. mini chocolate chips
  • 10 oz. of milk chocolate
  • 8 oz. of white chocolate
  • 6 oz. of toffee bits


Mix flour, brown sugar, butter, sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla in mixing bowl.  After fully incorporated add mini chocolate chips and mix until fully incorporated, after mixture is complete let set in refrigerator for 10 min.

After cookie dough mixture has set, line a large cookie sheet with wax paper.  Then roll cookie dough into teaspoon size balls.  After all the cookie dough balls are formed and placed on the cookie sheet, place the cookie sheet in the freezer for 10 min.

While waiting on cookie dough balls to harden melt milk chocolate in a bowl. Take cookie dough balls from freezer; dip into milk chocolate enough to cover 2/3 of the ball. Put back in freezer for 10 min. to let chocolate harden. While waiting on chocolate to harden melt white chocolate in a bowl. Next grind toffee bits up in a food processor for a smoother consistency and then place on plate.  Take cookie dough balls from freezer, dip the rest of the cookie dough balls into white chocolate (enough to meet the line of milk chocolate) then dip the wet milk chocolate in toffee bits to coat the white chocolate. Place in freezer up to 10 min. before serving

Tip: Stay consistent with the size of the cookie-dough bite.  While a teaspoon size may seem too small by itself, once it is dipped in chocolate it will serve for the perfect bite-sized treat.

Makes approximately 40 chocolate covered cookie-dough bites per batch.  Enjoy!
