Kick-Start Your Cinco de Mayo with this cocktail from @Sobieski and @DrinksByNiccole!

Kick-Start Final
For some of us, Cinco de Mayo means chips, guacamole, and margaritas. However, for the more adventurous among us, serving the same food and drinks year in and year out might be a tad boring. The good news is that we found a drink you can serve at your party that I’m willing to bet your guests have NEVER tried before!

Niccole Trzaska from the Liberty Bar in NYC sent in this recipe that’s guaranteed to spice up your Cinco de Mayo festivities. The Kick-Start mixes traditional drink ingredients with a little bit of Sriracha hot sauce, and it all comes together PERFECTLY.  Most of the ingredients are sweet, so you’d think it would be a dessert drink, but the spice at the end adds complexity that makes it difficult to categorize. Just to be safe, have on before, during, and after dinner. And make sure you try one before they close the Sriracha factory down! 🙁

 The Kick Start –

1 ½ oz. Sobieski Vodka
¼ oz. vanilla liqueur
¼ oz. lime juice
¼ oz. cranberry juice
Drizzle of Sriracha
Dash simple syrup
Lime wheel for garnish

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake.   Strain into martini glass or high ball over ice.  Garnish with a lime wheel, serve, and enjoy!
