Loco Kids: St.Patty’s Day Treats

We like to make a big deal out of St.Patrick’s Day at our house.  The kids love donning as much funky green stuff as possible, and the parents love to say “cheers” with a green beer.   St.Patrick’s Day is best when enjoyed with good friends!  Of course, these celebrations involve eating some delicious food, and yummy treats!  Desserts are so much fun on St.Patrick’s Day because you can have fun coming up with something unique (and green), and the kids really get into it.  These kid friendly desserts are the perfect green addition to your St.Patty’s Day party!

Taste a Rainbow Cupcakes

Don’t forget to grab some chocolate coins for the “pot-o-gold”! (psst…I just found some at Target today in the dollar spot)

Grasshopper Trifle

Kids will love helping to crunch the cookies in this recipe, they always love smashing things, right? Add a few drops of green food coloring to the whipped cream, and put these in a kid-friendly glass!

Lime Sherbet Punch

I still love the way sherbet punch fizzes in your mouth when you take a sip!

Here’s wishing you the top o’ life without a single tumble.
Here’s wishing you the smiles o’ life and not a single grumble.
Here’s wishing you the best o’ life and not a claw about it.
Here’s wishing you the joy in life and not a day without it.
