Pancakes that make you healthier and energized

If you have trouble waking up in the morning and can’t stop using the snooze button, maybe I have just the solution for you.

See, only a month ago I couldn’t imagine a life that included a 9 to 5 job and responsibilities, but since I have started working I had to let go of some of my old ways.

The thing that I found most difficult to cope with was waking up early in the morning.

I mean, I had to shift from watching movies till 3 a.m. to waking up and getting ready for work at 7 a.m.

As always I had to find myself a motivation to get up early, and sure enough I found it. There are vast number of recipes for pancakes was just what I needed to wake up fresh and ready for the day ahead of me.

Quick and Easy Breakfast Pancakes

The easiest pancakes out there must be the Dad’s three ingredient pancakes. These flat more crepe-like pancakes are a great way to start your day out. I drown them in maple syrup, add some crispy bacon on top and am good to go.

 

But when I am in the mood for a bit fluffier pancake stack, I prepare the Easy banana pancakes. Ok, the name itself implies they are easy peasy and super tasty too. But, more importantly these pancakes are way healthier then the regular pancake, since the banana replaces the flour.

Protein Packed Pancakes

 

Probably the best way to start your day is by eating food that is high in protein. And I don’t think there’s anything that says PROTEIN better than quinoa.

Substitute all purpose flour for whole wheat flour, coconut sugar for regular sugar

now add quinoa to the equation

and you will get

the definition of HEALTHY.

The Protein Quinoa Pancakes are just that: a good for you breakfast, that will keep you going throughout the day. Not to mention these pancakes are soft and fluffy and incredibly scrumptious. All in all, a pancake recipe that is a must!

A little Extra Time for Extra Delicious Pancakes

If you have an extra hour on your hands the Cheesecake Stuffed Cinnamon-Sugar Pancakes are a must try! I must admit they are a bit more complicated to handle, but I still have my weekend mornings to prepare and enjoy in these babies. The pomegranate seeds add to the freshness and together with the cream cheese you will have the sensation of eating a real cheesecake trapped in the form of a pancake.

If you are like me, and need a little extra effort to wake up in the morning, maybe these pancakes will be reason enough, I know they are for me. Ok I must admit I love my new job as well, but still these pancake recipes helped a lot J.
