Peach Crumble Recipe

I met Michelle, of Cooking with Michele at a foodie event.  She was sweet as pie and very knowledgeable about the whole foodie world.  In fact she offers assistance to those who are maybe a little cooking-capped, by teaching in home and offering cooking parties too (if you’re in Colorado, look her up for a party – so much fun!).  She’s also the bloggess with the mostess who posts many delicious recipes, reviews and local information too.

Michele was so generous in sharing one of her delicious recipes with us, and since fruit is coming into season, you’d better believe we’re all craving fruity desserts!

Peach Crumble
Serves 6-8

8 peaches
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons sugar
8 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup oats, rolled (raw)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour

Peel peaches and cut into wedges. Toss with flour and sugar and pour into a buttered 8 inch square or round oven-safe baking dish. Use your hands to combine butter, oats, brown sugar and flour. Crumble over the top of the peaches. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving.

I must admit; I love seeing how the group I started at Front Range Foodies is bring local bloggers together in a supportive environment. Makes a mom proud!

I’ve never met a crumble I didn’t like; and I love the simplicity of this. Wishing I had some fresh peaches!
