Pumpkin Margarita From Crema Restaurant, New York, NY!!!

We’re getting close! Two days till Halloween, and we all have our costumes picked out and our pumpkins carved, right? …Right? Anyone who’s been to a costume store the day before Halloween (see us, last year) can tell you that youre going to be picking from the dregs of the costumes. Want an extra extra small wizard’s robe? How about a 5XL Sexy Nurse Costume? They’ll also have PLENTY of accessories that have nothing to do with any of the costumes left in stock. Basically, it’s going to be a disaster. Worse if you’re shopping for your kid’s costume.
But, the good news is, we know that you’re all well prepared. And, especially for the parents out there, that deserves a reward. Luckily, Crema Restaurant in New York has come up with a margarita that you can drink while trick or treating, guilt free. No one wants to be the parent who has to bring a flask with them from doorstep to doorstep, but don’t worry! This is a Pumpkin Margarita, so the seasonality factor really outweighs the judgments. The only thing that could make it better is if you can find a jack o’lantern shaped glass to put it in.
Here’s the recipe –

Pumpkin Margarita

1 oz fresh lime/lemon juice mix
Splash of pumpkin puree
Sesame seeds
Lime wedge
Rim a cocktail glass with lime juice and sesame seeds. Mix ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Stir into cocktail glass (or Jack O’Lantern Cup). Garnish with a lime wedge.
