Portland’s Finest Candy Crafters are Alluring Fans Nationwide
As the holidays approach, tis the season for sweets. Snacks of all kind will perch among dinner tables— there will be pie, and brownies, and cookies, and gingerbread houses— all of which are heavenly. But as a candy connoisseur, I haven’t given up on my beloved. Certainly there will be a bowl of candy at this party? Will Santa leave me some? I’m on the nice list this year, and more than ever, I hope my stocking is full of Quin Candy. It’s remarkably good.
The local food movement will not be dissipating. Quin Candy has given a shot at creating delicious treats using local resources—may I say they scored! The small yet gifted staff has not limited themselves to one particular candy either. Try the caramel chews in 9 amazing flavors for a twist on a classic, and forget dum-dums, because the assortment of lollipops is mind-blowing. What about gum drops, which I crave especially around the holidays. It’s hard to decide which to eat first when you have the option of 10 different kinds! The sour supremes are a type of fruit chew and out of this world. I first tried the cherry, which was so soft and tangy— I couldn’t help but eat the lemon and tangerine flavors immediately afterwards.
Quin’s progressive business model has proven to be groundbreaking. The candy is truly hand-crafted, hand-wrapped and handfully thoughtful. We certainly recommend these in our 12 days of Chocolate (AND CANDY – Yes, we HAD to sneak just one in that wasn’t chocolate.). Stop by quincandy.com for all things Quin-related and follow @quincandypdx on Twitter for updates.

PS – we did snarf these treats for free, but only write about our favorite things – this is our opinion.
