Do you ever have that moment, while you’re sitting outside under the hot summer sun and think to yourself, “DAMN GURL, I NEED A DRINK IN MY HAND?” (Ok maybe that’s me, especially if you are one of our faithful male readers, then I’m guessing you don’t refer to yourself as a “gurl”) So now that we’ve taken a little journey into the mind of Jaclyn, let’s get back to that drink! Van GoghVodka has created a delicious and refreshing vodka that is infused with Acai and Blueberries. (I honestly just drank it mixed with a bit of soda water – SO YUMMY!) And now they are offering us up a drink recipe for a Cantaloupe Tea Daiquiri.
Now you can say it………seriously, say it to me – DAMN GURL, I NEED A DRINK IN MY HAND!
CANTALOUPE TEA DAIQUIRI
Created by tea sommelier James Labe
1 ½ oz. Numi Emperor’s Pu-erh Tea
1 ½ oz. Van Gogh BLUE Vodka
3 oz. Frozen Cubed Cantaloupe
1 oz. Coconut Milk
Splash of Lemon Juice
Steep tea at 4X normal strength for 2 minutes, then remove tea bag and chill
liquid for later use. Combine and blend ingredients in blender, including cold tea, adding a
splash of lemon for each serving. Serve on the rocks, garnish with Lemon
