Refreshing Watermelon Margaritas from @Sauza !

Watermelon Margarita

Well, as the saying goes, be careful what you wish for! It seems that all of our summer drink posts have raised the temperature here in LA a little TOO much! To make it up to everyone, we’re passing along a couple extremely refreshing new margaritas for you. The first is Sauza’s new Sparkling Margarita Watermelon, and its light watermelon taste and refreshing bubbles are sure to cool you down during the strongest of heat waves!

Sparkling Watermelon

If you’re too hot RIGHT NOW, you can just pop this bottle open and serve over ice, but I think you’d rather try another Sauza recipe that uses real fruit, right? Well here you go! You’ll have to try both and let us know which you prefer!

Ingredients:

4 parts Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila

2 parts JDK & Sons™ O3 Premium Orange Liqueur

3 cups seedless watermelon, chilled and cut into pieces

½ cup lime juice, freshly squeezed

1 cup ice

Preparation:

Freeze cubed watermelon in a plastic bag for a minimum of 2 hours. Add all ingredients to a blender and puree until smooth. Serve in glasses rimmed with salt and garnish with a lime or watermelon wedge. Salud!
