Spiked Agua Fresca From Captain Morgan for National Rum Day!!!

Captain's Agua Fresca
Sorry everyone, put down the bottle – It’s not National Rum Day YET. That distinction goes to August 16, this coming Saturday. As far as we’re concerned, that day is doing pretty well for itself . It’s a Saturday, so everyone’s already looking forward to seeing it. Plus, because it’s so close to the beginning of the school year, no one wants to waste it. Kids are packing in as much fun as they can,  and parents are gleefully awaiting that Monday in the near future when they can pretend to be sad their kids are going to school. Basically, everyone was already going to enjoy August 16.

On top of that, it gets to be National Rum Day as well? It’s an embarrassment of riches. The only one who’s not happy about this is Sunday the 17th. It has to supervise the close of one of the LAST weekends of the summer, AND all the adults are hungover from Rum Day? We feel bad for the poor day.

To help stave off that hangover and give Sunday something to look forward to, Captain Morgan has a recipe for Spiked Agua Fresca using their new Captain Morgan White Rum. It’s a drink full of fresh fruit, veggies, and water – Not only is it crisp, light, and refreshing, but you’ll also stay hydrated while drinking them! You’ll get to drink as much rum as you want on Saturday, and still have Sunday to practice your victory dance for when your kid FINALLY gets on that school bus Monday morning. It’s a win-win!

Here’s the recipe –
