The gourmet crisped rice emporium (www.treathouse.com) has officially expanded to the east side with their second New York City store located at 1566 2nd Ave, between 81st and 82ndStreet.
What began as a charitable bake sale with their Upper West Side flagship opening in August 2013, Treat House quickly became a dessert staple and favorite amongst all ages nationwide. Founders Chris Russell (former Moomba co-founder) and Jennifer Russell along with Executive Chef, Wendy Israel (whose experience includes The W Hotel in New York and Jumeirah Essex House) have expanded this idea with offerings now including customized treats, ice cream treat bars, treat pops, marshmallows, breakfast bars and more.
Designed by Andre Kikoski Architects, the store features chic design elements including a table made of rice crispy treats and even a back area for private parties. After noticing as recent demand for customized treats, this new Treat House location will give guests the opportunity to “Design Your Own Treat” and “Eat Your Selfie”.
