Stir It Thursday: Negroni Week!

It’s the third annual Negroni Week and bartenders, bakers, chefs and Negroni fans alike are drinking and eating for a cause from June 1 – June 7.

Negroni Week is a weeklong celebration that takes place across the country where $1 of every Negroni (or Negroni item) sold gets donated to that participating bar’s charity of choice. We had over 1,300 bars participate last year and have already exceeded that number this year, with no signs of slowing down!

This year, there are more food vendors than ever signed up across the country to infuse the Negroni into their culinary creations. Here are a few of our favorites:

  • In New York, we have Tipsy Scoop creating Negroni Ice Cream, Butter & Scotch creating Negroni Pies and Pearl & Ash making Negroni Ice Cream sandwiches.
  • San Francisco is no stranger to Negroni edibles either! Sugar and Spun is making Negroni Cotton Candy, Perbacco is making Negroni Pop Corn and Cockscomb will be making a Negroni mignonette to go along with their fresh oysters.
  • DC has Negroni fruit rollup moustaches!

¾ oz. Campari

¾ oz. Cinzano Extra Dry

¼ oz. Crème de Cacao

Stir and strain into Nick and Nora glass

¾ oz. Strawberry-Infused Cinzano Bianco

1 ½ oz. Wild Turkey 101 Rye

½ oz. Foro Amaro

2 dashes Angostura Orange

Tsp St. Germain

Stir and strain into Rocks glass with fresh ice.
