Bartender! I’ll take another!
Another slice of The Spotted Donkey’s Jalisco Tower Cake that is. A Mexican inspired dessert made of an 11 layer chocolate cake with Patron XO Coffee Tequila scented chocolate mousse, chocolate covered coffee beans, whipped cream and a red chili spiced caramel sauce which offers just the right amount of spicy kick that every chocolate lover needs at the end of the day. Did I say the words Chocolate, Tequila & Coffee enough in one sentence to get you hooked?
Pastry Chef, Eric Marie of The Boulders Resort and The Bakery Café, supplies these delicious masterpieces to each of the resorts fine restaurants and spa’s. Hand-crafting each dessert to the restaurants style, he has swept the customers by storm with this Tequila, Chocolate and Coffee dessert.
Also, included in The Spotted Donkey’s array of sweets is their S’more Cheesecake. Creamy in texture and covered in toasted marshmallow, then drizzled in homemade caramel & chocolate sauces, this fall time twist to the traditional cheesecake had me wanting more. Usually when you order a non-traditional cheesecake you’re in for a burst of sweets, but this S’more flavored delight offered just the right amount of flavor without taking away the creaminess of everyone’s favorite – the cheesecake.
Stop by the patio of The Spotted Donkey and enjoy their relaxing atmosphere and smooth rich desserts.
