What A Time to Be Alive -TINCUP Whiskey

I am a child of the 80s. I can distinctly remember the day that my father came home with a car phone. No, not the car phones that we use today that are so smart they somehow make us angry when they don’t understand what we’re saying. A car phone that was drilled into the car and had an operator, yes an operator that you had to dial-in to be connected with someone. The first time he called my mom from it when I was in the car, I thought to myself, “What a time to be alive.”

Since then I have been waiting for all of the things the Jetsons promised us: flying cars, robot butlers and an all-in-one shower/blow dry/make-up application machine. While I still wait for those, I will say the world has become a much more convenient place. You no longer have to rip open a carton of orange juice like an animal. You don’t even really need to go grocery shopping for yourself anymore, there’s an app for that.

So you can imagine how excited I was to discover TINCUP Whiskey. Forget for a moment how delicious the actual whiskey is, we’ll get back to that. This whiskey comes with a built-in shot glass. Yes you read that right. A shot glass. No longer will you have to sit around like a hobo pulling long sips from the bottle in a paper bag. No. You will proudly display the bottle and measure out your delicious whiskey.

Now back to that smooth delicious flavor. TINCUP is a blend of two great American whiskeys, each aged in #3 charred oak barrels. “High rye” bourbon, distilled and aged in Indiana, blended with a small amount of Colorado single malt whiskey. These whiskeys are then cut with Rocky Mountain water. TINCUP is named for the Colorado mining pioneers and the tin cups from which they drank their whiskey.

TINCUP has revolutionized the way whiskey should be packaged. We’re talking invention of the juice box level stuff here people. What a time to be alive.
