NEW :: Tom’s Urban 24 {Denver}

Tom’s Urban 24 has officially been open for 24 hours at this point.  Literally, this new little hot spot on Larimer Square is open 24/7.   The old Samba Room has been transformed into an affordable, chic, retro, modern, eclectic restaurant that had me quiet just taking it all in (ps. I don’t “quiet” easily).  Tom’s has my favorite 3 S’s – sights, sounds, and, the best “S”, SMELLS – I knew this place was going to be goooood.

I tried not to squeal too loudly, but it was loud, when the house-made Daily Donuts began arriving at our table – Chipotle Chocolate, Cap’n Crunch, Maple Bacon, Chocolate, Vanilla, and my favorite of the bunch, Fruit Loops.

And along came Tom’s “Pop Tarts” with flavors like Raspberry, Fig & Goat Cheese.  Look out Shmellog’s.

Daily pancake offerings, which could be more indulgent than some desserts – Pumpkin Spice with Sea Salt Caramel butter from local company – Epicurean Butter, Caramel & Banana Pancakes, oh the list of carbo-licious treats goes on and on.

But my all time favorite treat was Tom’s Breakfast of Champions.  The Daily Donut of your choice served up with a shot of Glazed Donut Vodka and a shot of Espresso Liqueur.  My kinda break-feast.

On the go?  Indulging while walking is encouraged, Tom’s Urban 24 has the “Side Door” open from 6am-11am – where you can get your hand-held food fix.  Everything sold from the Side Door was crafted to be eaten while you walk – and yes, this includes those delicious donuts! HOORAY!

Like what you see?  Show them some sugar…
