We have a Tony’s Market within stone’s throw of our house, it’s the Original store. It’s my go-to for last minute treats, a free cookie for the kiddos, or just oogling the sweet display case until they ask me nicely to leave (aka call the cops). My husband and I always talk about how crazy busy that tiny location is. Thankfully the sugary goodness is up front, easy in and out.
Tony’s is a family run meat market with a motto of – Quality, Service, Constant Innovation and Abbondanza! I’d say there’s plenty of Abbondanza baked into their confections. The kiddos and I moseyed over for a sampling of the house made and locally made desserts from the Humble Pie Store and Pie in the Sky Bakery. Here’s what we picked up:
Oscar chose an M&M chocolate chip cookie – which as you can see barely made it out of the store alive.
Rose went for the Strawberry Pie from Humble Pie Store – so sweet, so summery – even after a giant snowstorm.
The hubs had a hankering for the Lava Bundt Cake – heat this baby up in your micro for about 20 seconds and let the chocolate lava flow.
I went for the classic – Slice of White Cake White Buttercream – yes, you can buy just a slice! and a generous happy slice at that. And I’ll have you know this slice is the perfect “I’m craving cake and need immediate assistance with my craving” slice of cake.
Ella sank her teeth into the Key Lime Pie from Pie in the Sky Bakery in Boulder
So many treats to choose from, I recommend going in with something in particular in mind to grab and go. Otherwise, your sugar-oogling-loitering butt might be nicely asked to leave too (aka cops called).
Like what you see? Show them some sugar… Website
