Xtreme Fruity Pebble Coated Pretzels {Recipe}

Raise your hand if your cereal crush was Fruity Pebbles growing up?  (or maybe they’re your obsession now?)  You’ll be thrilled, and expressing your gratitude toward moi, to know that they’re making an EXTREME comeback with  Limited Edition Pebbles Xtreme cereal.  Colors neon bright and flavors sweet as BAM BAM.

Super easy, super YUM.  They’ll be taking you back to your childhood quicker than you can say “Bedrock”.

Fruity Pebbles coated Pretzels

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place chocolate in 1-cup glass measuring cup. Microwave as directed on package. Cool 5 min.
  2. Dip pretzels halfway into chocolate, tilting cup to evenly coat each pretzel. Scrape off excess chocolate. Holding pretzels over plate, immediately sprinkle with cereal. Place in shallow waxed paper-lined pan.
  3. Refrigerate 15 min. or until chocolate coating is firm.

Tips and Suggestions

Peanutty Chocolate Pretzels: Coat pretzels with melted chocolate as directed. Sprinkle with 2-1/2 cups finely chopped dry roasted peanuts instead of the cereal.

White Chocolate Pretzels: Substitute 6 oz. white chocolate for the semi-sweet chocolate. Sprinkle coated pretzels with 8 finely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies instead of the cereal.

Chocolate-Peanut Butter Pretzels: Stir 3 Tbsp. peanut butter into the melted chocolate before using to coat pretzels. Sprinkle with 8 finely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies instead of the cereal.

Double-Peanut Butter Pretzels: Substitute 6 oz. white chocolate for the semi-sweet chocolate. Stir 3 Tbsp. peanut butter into the melted chocolate before using to coat pretzels. Sprinkle with 8 finely crushed peanut butter sandwich cookies instead of the cereal.
